attempted to communicate through both personal and private channels,
along with media reports, stating that no rubber bullets had been fired
and that Chulalongkorn University remained a safe area.
Moreover, disinformation may be intentionally created in
anticipation of significant reactions from various groups, whether they
share similar or differing opinions. Creation and dissemination of content
that contains disinformation in various forms including text, real images
combined with false statements, or colleges that blend real and recent
events, can contribute to misunderstanding."
The dispersal of demonstrations on October 16, 2020 is one
example of many events during a time of political conflict caused by
fake news with reactions from all parties. The conflict spread even faster
and led to a social crisis.
