                                     Abstract




















                  The project Social Crisis in Thailand focuses on the prevention of

           future social crises, particularly the issue of identifying patterns of social
           events that deviate from the norm. These social crises entail situations

           where people's lives in society are compromised, leading to a sense of
           uncertainty. Conflicts may persist without resolution, or may be manageable

           through mutual agreement. This study adopts a qualitative research
           approach, emphasizing a case study analysis on four key issues: 1) inequality

           in the justice process; 2) economic inequality, especially concerning unfair
           trade competition; 3) inequality in natural resource management; and

           4) communication strategies to promote social justice. All four perspectives
           will be illustrated through compelling and noteworthy case studies.

           For example, to examine inequality in the justice process, we analyze
           cases involving injustice in the context of unrest in the southern

           border provinces of Thailand, differences in political ideologies in the new
