the e-marketplace platform as required by law. If out of warranty period,
consumers may no longer have the option to exercise their rights to
return products and receive refunds. Some victims of such situations may
choose not to pursue complaints, as the value of the product is often
insignificant compared to the complexity of the complaint process they
must navigate. In many cases, consumers may fail to retain evidence of
their online transactions, causing them to miss the opportunity to file
further complaints. Additionally, the complaints process is often disjointed,
frequently halting at the reporting stage. Complainants may be unaware
of the status of their complaints during the process.
