3.3 The success of Chart Thai Pattana Party came from the continuity of the

Silpa-archa political family, belief in Mr. Banharn Silpa-archa, candidates, and their
supporters.

Recommendations

1. Regarding the issue of the rules and regulations being not clear, an election

handbook should be created with detailed explanations of the election procedures.

2. Regarding the issue of reporting election results via modern technology, there

should be a review of the system that was used in order to ensure that the reporting
can cover all activities occurring at the same time.

3. Regarding the issue of using only one ballot, the each candidate’s name,

surname, and political party should be printed on the ballot, or there should be
two separate ballots—one for the election on the party-list system, and another for

the election on the constituency system.
