peaceful coexistence between Pathumwan institution of Technology and Rajamangala University of

Technology Tawan- Ork, Uthen Thawai Campus, and 2) factors leading to the success by

intermediaries in educational institutions. Both studies are conducted by the authors. From such

institutions, and then seeks for volunteers to join the project.

The essence of the meeting can be summarized as follows:

                            1) A definition of a culture of peace relates to values, attitudes, behaviors and lifestyles

supporting conversations to find the cause of conflicts instead of violence with manners and behaviors
to reinforce the coexistence in society with benevolence, understanding, open mind, and harmony.

                            2) Conflicts and violence in educational institutions occur in many forms both physically

and verbally. Words are used to cause pain or regret both online and face-to-face in every level of
educational institutions: primary school, secondary school, vocational school, and university.

Quarrels among institutions and abusive words among the youth through online social media are
often seen on the news, especially during the COVID-19 situation. Incorrect values may be passed
on from senior students to junior students through various methods resulting in physical violence.

The wrong value may suggest violence is a common approach to deal with conflicts or quarrels.

                            3) Creating a culture of peace in educational institutions according to the definition can be
done through many approaches without any training. There are both formal and informal methods
