                     4. Suggestion

The research results suggest as follows:

                            4.1 Recommendations

                            1) The Cabinet/Education-related policy makers such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry

of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation may consider promoting a culture of peace

in all educational institutions including university, secondary school, vocational school and primary
school by setting up mechanisms such as a committee and a working group to provide training in

addition to the regular curriculum on a culture of peace. At the start, the focus is on the school
administrators, instructors, and teachers to help promote a culture of peace among their students

                     in their own educational institutions.

                            2) A model for promoting a culture of peace in educational institutions is to be applied to

management and training for faculties at the pilot schools. There are many ways to achieve a
sustainable culture of peace in educational institutions by improving the curriculum, projects, and

activities in educational institutions. There should be both mechanisms and good relationships

among those involved. No one can neglect the others. Without good relationships among the
involved parties, a culture of peace will not be effective in school.

                            3) The findings are applied to develop an appropriate model for building a culture of peace
in the pilot schools. The Tuna Act Model is applied along with the consultation with all relevant

parties to finalize the appropriate process. The related studies and regular consultation with all the
stakeholders are included to develop a complete, thorough process for promoting a peace culture.

4.2 Suggestions for the future research

For the future research, there should be as follows:

                            1) A study of the mechanisms for monitoring the success of promoting a culture of peace

in 19 schools at all three levels

                            2) Expand the research area by developing a national policy for a culture of peace.
