In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the research team,
therefore, designed the study with various methods, including examining
case studies and collecting secondary data from documents, academics,
concepts, theories, research results, news, records, media, and statistics.
Domestic and foreign case studies on social crises were examined
in addition to primary data drawn from in-depth interviews with academics,
group meetings with interested groups, experts, and academics, and
from social media such as Clubhouse. The information was processed
with content analysis, trend analysis, and statistical analysis. A scenario
for Thailand's social crisis was modeled to synthesize and answer
the questions in the study. Finally, solutions for the crisis were prepared
as a complete report.
The central concept of this study revolves around the notion of
a social crisis, which deviates from normal conditions, creates uncertainty
in people's lives, and causes conflicts. Some crises may persist and remain
unresolved. However, crisis is manageable through mutual agreement
with clear understanding. Concrete natures of a social crisis can serve
as both a cause and an effect. When regarded as a cause, it becomes
extensive and expansive resulting in a profound impact on society. It is
evident that a social crisis results from complex and long-accumulated
causes. If considered as the contextual backdrop that triggers various
events, social crises may resemble a cause but are not the primary
