Community Tourism


                         1. External environment factors comprise of 1) policies and measures on promotion,

                  promoting community  enterprise  in  driving  grassroot  economy  and  policy  on  community
                  tourism; 2) supporting agencies such as Community Development Department, Department of

                  Industry Promotion, Bank for Agriculture and Agriculture, Local Administrative Organization
                  (LAO), private agencies; 3) Education institutes have roles in providing knowledge, research and

                  community data studies, and creating databases; 4) community tourism trend and community
                  livelihood.


                         2.  Internal  factors  comprise  of  1)  community  capital,  cultural  capital,  community

                  livelihood, natural resources and environment capital; 2) community leaders have roles in

                  driving forward the community, act as knowledge provider and providing sacrifice, have creative
                  ideas and positive visionary; 3) community networking, collaborative networking in community

                  activities,  activity  expansion,  activity  development;  4)  activity  development,  product
                  development through local wisdom, community culture and community resources.


                         3. Operation procedures comprise of 1) accessing production factors, availability of

                  natural resources, culture capital, livelihood capital and human resources capital, local expert;
                  2)  creating  community  knowledge,  supporting  and  promoting  knowledge  on  community

                  tourism, servicing, homestay, tourism activities and local capital-based community products,

                  2)  community  product,  goods  production,  tourism  activities,  community  learning  sources,
                  information publication and learning and sharing.


                         4.  Operation  outcomes  comprise  of  1)  increase  in  household  income  due  to

                  community activities and community products; 2) strong community economy, gaining income,
                  saving money, and availability of capitals; 3) relationship of community members regarding

                  public  activities,  groupings,  role  distribution,  help  and  support,  and  love  toward  one’s
                  hometown; 4) community enterprise, savings, and community welfare fund.


                  Community Industry
