license, it is valid through their lives. However, what I have

heard is that in some countries, the license renewal is required.
Thus, to facilitate the MRAs implementation, this regulation
                 has to be harmonized.

To conclude this, I would like to emphasize that in
our profession, the patient’s safety must come first. Therefore,

registration as an ASEAN doctor which allows ASEAN doctors to
move around the region must be in a well-controlled monitoring
system. Furthermore, nowadays, we can see a lot of propaganda

and advertisements concerning esthetic medicine. If we allow
all practitioners to move, we have to think how to monitor

the esthetic medicine to make it safe.

Point of view on the implementation of MRAs

by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tassana Boontong, representative from the
                 Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council

MRAs are quite open in terms of the free flow of workers

to move to other countries in the region under the condition
that they must have qualification recognition or license for

their profession in their own country.

In my opinion, there are still lots of different things
between these ten countries, such as, the level of education.
