mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of the administration’s work by
the Legislative Drafting Department. This will promote public participation and facilitate
thorough audits of various organizations.
Access to legal information. The Legal Drafting Department should provide accurate,
up-to-date, and easily accessible legal information and data related to legislation. This
will enable the general public and organizations in various sectors of society to access
information quickly and conveniently. It could be in the form of a database or a platform
accessible to the general public.
Expertise and support for parliament members. There should be a review and
improvement of regulations, qualifications, and remuneration for experts, specialists, and
support staff working with parliamentary members. Performance evaluations should be
conducted to ensure fairness and value for their contributions.
Accountability of the legislative branch. The integrity of parliamentary members
should be closely monitored, including measures to prevent misconduct, abuse of power,
and unethical behavior. This should involve scrutinizing actions that are inconsistent with
members’ responsibilities or that facilitate corruption. Inappropriate conduct and behavior
should be evaluated, and there should be suggestions for enhancing the involvement in
international policies. Before creating contractual obligations and ensuring the public’s
right to access key information, the Legal Drafting Department should assess the potential
impact on all sectors.
The Parliament should develop guidelines and implement training programs to
enhance the knowledge and understanding of international policies and participation in
such policies by parliamentary members. This is a crucial responsibility of the members of
the parliament. These recommendations aim to improve the functioning of the parliament,
promote transparency, and enhance public participation in the legislative process.
