Recommendations

1. Recommendations for applying the research

Problems and obstacles related to the constitution and political laws have been researched
intensively, including restrictions made by government, as well as people’s political behavior.

The recommendations are as follow.

1.1 The Election Commission, departments working under their orders, and
related departments must publicize and advertise election details to the

public. These agencies may unite with other government agencies and
educational institutions. Communication channels must be fast and accessible.

Announcement of election results and the certification of election results must
be done clearly. This would show justice under a democratic system.

1.2 Political institutions, both the civil service and security affairs section, take part

in driving and supporting the election. They need to retain their independence

and neutrality in all political respects. Therefore, their intension must be clarified
to the public clearly so the public can understand and acknowledge that these
agencies work freely and never support any of the parties. Their mission is

to create the right knowledge, and attitude for general elections.

1.3 In this general election, there were newcomer candidates, new politicians,

new parties, and former MPs. They had their own political ideology, so we
must retain democratic ideologies strictly in any circumstance. Wrong political

culture, adversely affecting the country should not be tolerated. People’s
benefits must be prioritized and the information must be shared properly.

1.4 There has been a lot of political awareness for this general election, since there

are many factors that have changed. This influences people’s conceptions
and attitudes, thus the public needs to follow precise news and information

from the government agencies. To study politicians’ policies and comparing
pros and cons, will also help public decision making.
