2. Recommendations of future research

2.1 After conducting the research, we found that laws and rules enforced for

this general election were used to support the election under the control
of a Coup d’Etat Committee. Evidently, there was no participation from

the public for which details are needed to be reviewed in many aspects.
The criteria, processes and procedures are transformed and applied for the

public afterwards. These cause various obstacles when they are followed
by critics who understand all of the process. Thereby, awareness and

requirements need to be further researched.

2.2 The background of politics in Sakeaw has had a prestigious family who have
controlled this area for so long that it connects to both local and national

politics directly. Until then the new constitution that has been set up and used
there is changing of political polarization has immense effects to the politics

and election in Sakeaw. Bastions of the political families has changed since
then. Looking to the future power bases, structural relationship on politics

family and other circumstances that happened after the general election 2019
should be researched.
