                            In addition to the documentary evidence, the relationship
                    between Siam and Japan from the reign of King Chulalongkorn was divided

                    into Royal and Government Affairs.

                            The royal affairs in the reign of King Chulalongkorn (King Rama V)
                    were as follows:


                            1.   His Royal Highness Prince Panurangsri Savangwongse Krom
                                 Phanuphantuwong Woradet observed the Japanese trade

                                 fair in 1890 A.D.;

                            2.   His Majesty King Chulalongkorn offered Buddha’s relics that
                                 Siam received from England to be enshrined in Nagoya in

                                 1900 A.D.;

                            3.   His Royal Highness Prince Chirapravat Krom Muen Nakhon
                                 Chai Si Suradet observed the military work in Japan in
                                 1900 A.D.;


                            4.   His Royal Highness Crown Prince Vajiravudh attended
                                 Japanese Education Affairs in 1902 A.D.;

                            5.   His Royal Highness Prince Chirapravat Krom Muen Nakhon

                                 Chai Si Suradet observed the battlefield between Russia and
                                 Japan and learned the management of Japanese military
                                 conscription in 1906 A.D.; and


                            6.   Prince Fushimi Hiroyasu attended the coronation ceremony
                                 in Siam on behalf of Emperor of Japan along with others
                                 representatives from 13 western countries including

                                 Denmark, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA,
                                 Sweden, England, Russia, France, Hungary, Spain, and

                                 Norway, in 1911 A.D.
