16 Siam - Rising Sun Under King Prajadhipok
The royal affairs in the reign of King Vajiravudh (King Rama VI)
were as follows:
1. His Royal Highness Prince Yugaladighambara Krom
Khun Lopburi Rames observed the local government
administration, agriculture, and handicrafts in Japan in 1921
A.D.; and
2. His Royal Highness Prince Prajadhipok Sakdidet Kromkhun
Sukhothai Thammaracha (His Majesty King Prajadhipok’s
title at the time) with his wife, Princess Rambai Barni,
(Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni’s title at the time),
unofficially visited Japan after graduating from the
advance military academy in France in 1924 A.D. on the
route through the Atlantic Ocean, the United States, and
the Pacific Ocean, from November, 22 to December, 5,
1924 A.D., for a total of 14 days before leaving for
Singapore and returning to Bangkok.
The government affairs in the reign of King Chulalongkorn were
as follows:
1. Phraya Phasakornwong as Ambassador of Siam to Japan on
the exchange of the ratification between Siam and Japan
in 1887 A.D.;
2. Mr. Oyama Kenkishi, a painter, worked for Ministry of Public
Instruction of Siam in 1892 A.D.;
