20 Siam - Rising Sun Under King Prajadhipok

Japanese affairs in Siam during the reign of King Rama VI were
                as follows:

                                                                               3

                        2. Mr. Miyakawa Iwachi opened Yamato Newspaper in 1921 A.D.

With an advance in science and technology, photography
became the means of recording historical events instead of the earlier

ones like murals and paintings. Photography first appeared in Siam during
the reign of King Mongkut and became more popular among the elites.
The following photographs in the reign of King Vajiravudh (King Rama VI)

revealed important events related to the close relationship between
                Siam and Japan.

3 At the time, Taiwan was colonized by Japan Empire. Any government businesses
                were mostly run by Japanese.
