Siam - Japan in the Reign of

King Prajadhipok

The relationship between Siam and Japan during the reign of

King Prajadhipok progressed in more various fields than that in the previous
reign. When King Prajadhipok ascended to the throne in 1925 A.D.,

he spent the first four years of his reign visiting his people in different
regions of Siam. In 1929 A.D., he officially started his official visit abroad.

His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni

made four official visits abroad as follows:

1) Singapore, Java, and Bali in 1929 A.D.;

2) Vietnam and Cambodia in 1930 A.D.;

3) the United States in 1931 A.D. and two visits to Japan,
on April 6-10 and September 26-28; and

4) European countries in 1934 A.D.
