                                worked for Ministry of Public Instruction of Siam in 1892 A.D.;


                            4.  Mr. Tokichi Masao worked as Siam’s legal advisor in 1897 A.D.;

                            5.  Mr. Tayama Kyuichi, an architect, worked under Ministry of

                                Public Works in 1899 A.D.;

                            6.  Mr. Toyama Kametaro worked as Chief of Silk Worker under
                                Ministry of Agriculture in 1901 A.D.;


                            7.  Mr. Fujii Kenichi, a physician, worked at Siriraj Hospital
                                in 1902 A.D.;


                            8.  Mrs. Yasui Tetsu worked as a principal of Rajini School
                                in 1903 A.D.; and


                            9.  Mr. Yasui Yujirou, a navy engineer, worked for the Royal
                                Siamese Navy in 1906 A.D.





                            Japanese people in Siam in the reign of King Chulalongkorn
                    were as follows:


                            1.   Mr. Nonogaki opened a shop for miscellaneous goods
                                 in 1891 A.D.;

                            2.   Mr. Watanabe Tomoyori opened the first cinema of Siam

                                 in 1904 A.D.;

                            3.   Nippon Yuzen Company opened a shipping route between
                                 Hong Kong and Bangkok in 1906 A.D.; and

                            4.   Mitsui Company opened a branch in Bangkok in 1906 A.D.
