3. Source Code Section 12 of R.A. 9369 states that once an AES technology
is selected for implementation, the COMELEC shall
promptly make the source code of that technology
available and open to any interested political party or
groups which may conduct their own review thereof.
Action point: Request for an update on the plans of the
COMELEC to have the source code reviewed, certified,
and secured, and put the same in escrow with Bangko
Sentral ng Pilipinas in order to ensure that the software
installed in the AES machines correspond to those that
have been reviewed and certified as provided by R.A.
9369.
