The Constitution Drafting Commission has 240 days, from the

enactment of the new Constitution, to draft the organic laws. Each organic
law then has to be reviewed and approved by the National Legislative

Assembly within 60 days after receiving the draft.

The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2550 (2007)
prescribed the structure, acquisition, composition, powers, and duties of
the Election Commission, based on the 1997 Constitution, as follows:
