                 – is one of the main tools for achieving labor mobility.
                 Additionally, one of the most important tools to support the
                 MRAs is ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework – AQRF.

                 3   ASEAN has established Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs) on 8
                 professions – doctors, dentists, nurses, architects, engineers, accountants,
                 surveyors and tour guides.

                    ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework is established to enable
                 comparisons of qualifications across countries which will support recognition of
                 qualifications, facilitate lifelong learning, promote and encourage credit transfer
                 and learner mobility and promote worker mobility. The AQRF is underpinned
                 by a set of agreed quality assurance principles and broad standards related
                 to functions of the registering and accrediting agencies, education and training
                 providers, systems for the assessment learning and issuing of qualifications and
