               Summary of Results and Recommendations

               All case studies concern at least four issues: 1) inequality in

        the justice process; 2) inequality in the economy, especially in unfair
        trade competition; 3) inequality in access to natural resources, and

        4) demonstration for social justice. Examination of these cases gives rise
        to the following key suggestions.




               Justice Process to Resolve Inequality


               The results of the study indicate that all three cases feature
        structural violence caused by an unfair justice processes and a lack of

        appropriate balance among the contexts. In the cases involving political

        justice, the justice process should be conducted based on constructive
        principles with a focus on upholding the basic rights and liberty of the
        people. Additionally, the justice process should build trust. In the cases

        concerning justice in the three border provinces of Thailand, it is essential

        to seek truth in incidents such as the Krue Sae - Tak Bai case and reduce
        the presence of the security measures in the region. Creating a space
        of trust can be achieved through the implementation of a multicultural

        policy and reforms in Thailand's criminal investigation system. Concrete

        steps should be taken to bring about reform in the police force.
        The parliamentary mechanism can play a crucial role in monitoring and
