have roles and authority to pursue truth to determine guilt or innocence

of the accused, their behavior, as evidenced by a released video clip
as examined in this study, can be exceedingly cruel and inhumane.
Furthermore, the officers in the case exploited their advantage as

individuals with knowledge and expertise in investigation to manipulate

the case and evade punishment for the most serious charges, as outlined
in the Criminal Code, Section 288 and Section 289(5). In the end, they

Reform of the criminal investigation system in Thailand should
encompass restructuring the criminal investigation system, reforming

management practices within the police organization, and enhancing
cooperation mechanisms across the entire criminal investigation system.

The primary focus should be on establishing mechanisms that balance
the power of police officers involved in criminal investigations and

promoting the utilization of forensic science in investigations to instill
confidence in the entire criminal justice system. Criminal investigation

is needed to help reduce serious crimes that violate human rights.
Individuals will be less inclined to transgress the country's laws when

there is a real possibility of being apprehended, prosecuted, and penalized
in accordance with the law. If successfully implemented, these reforms

will contribute to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that the
principles of the rule of law are realized in Thai society.
