2. Case Study of Unfair Competition
For many years, the issue of unfair competition has persisted
and grown. Unfair competition serves as a significant catalyst for raising
questions and eliciting requests from small entrepreneurs and specific
interest groups. Facilitating the expansion of private business
conglomerates groups of people who attain market dominance and
establish monopolies, thereby causing challenges for other market
participants. These challenges can ultimately impact domestic consumers,
shaping the economic landscape into concentrated structures.
Monopolistic practices also foster the growth of a few businesses
and exacerbate issues of inequality across multiple dimensions.
Within this section, we delve into two case studies of unfair
competition:
• Promoting fair competition according to the 2017 Trade
Competition Act;
• Unfair competition in E-Marketplace platforms.
