This allows students to brainstorm ideas and practice in reality.
The results of the School of Integrity program continue to
affect teachers and students at all 12 participating schools.
Many schools expanded their activities with other groups of
students. Moreover, the students who participated in the project
exhibited more responsible behaviors. It was also found success
factors in implementing the School of Integrity program. There
were the participation of school executives, teachers, and support
from external agencies. The obstacles included the duration of
activities that may lack continuity, the need for activities to be
carried out during school hours, and changing social conditions
that cause students to question about the integrity of Thai society.
After drawing lessons from all 12 schools, the researchers
refined and developed a model for strengthening integrity
involving the lecture of integrity and the process of developing
an integrity plan for students who participate in the activities.
The students developed activities that enhance integrity in the
digital era with a simplified process through on-line channels.
The research team recommends that the Ministry
of Education and other organizations that promote morality,
such as the Center for Morality Promotion or the National Office
of Buddhism, should conduct a review of integrity enhancement
projects or activities in schools in order to implement projects
on integrity in educational institutions.
