by list PR. The parallel system according to the 2021 constitutional

amendment is better than the electoral system of the 2017 Constitution,
but the parallel system is certainly not the most suitable electoral

system for Thailand.

The process which decides who wins the election or will be the

government, has not been don only by voters, but also by the electoral
system, which often plays a bigger role than voters. In my opinion, the

most suitable electoral system should be the fairest one, reflecting best
the mandate of the people as the state sovereign, effectively reducing

conflict in society, without being too complicated or too difficult for
voters and for election authorities while achieving efficiency and political

stability for the country. The electoral system that could best reach
these goals should be member proportional representation (MMP).

The second best system is the absolute majority system as practiced in France
(two round system) or in Australia (alternative Vote).
