The researchers propose the following suggestions.

(1) The design of the election system falls under the Constitution, in particular Mixed

Member Apportionment System (MMA) should reconsider in comply with the international
standard for the next election.This issue will be linked to constitution amendment, which would

be an essential part of changing the electoral system.

(2) There should be a study of the relationship between national politicians and local
politicians in Surin Province to reveal more details concerning changes in patterns of relations under
the new constitution. A clear understanding of this relationship will enable predictions regarding

local elections that will held in the near future.

(3) To create fairness in the electoral system, Organic Act on the Election of Members of
the House of Representatives, B.E. 2561 (2018) should revise cost regulations, forms, methods,

and resources that control the election and limit political campaigning.
