Point of view on the implementation of MRAs

I would like to mention these following points.

Firstly, according to Thai domestic regulations, the

policy of the country is specified in the National Strategy and
National Economy and Social Development Plan. Therefore, the
policy on the immigration and work permit for foreigners, which

is related to MRA implementation, depends on the strategy
and the plan. We have to wait until the National Strategy is

signed so that we will know clearly what has to be reviewed
to facilitate the implementation.

Secondly, generally, at least in Thailand, the qualification
recognition is not automatic with the work permit. The conditions
for issuing the visa and work permit and for qualification

recognition are also influenced by national interest. Besides
the language and culture, I think this can also be indicated as

a barrier to MRA implementation.
