Abstract

This study formulates important proposals for amendments to
the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560 (2017) regarding

community rights and traditional local communities. Changes in the
exercise of community rights under the 1997, 2007, and 2017 constitution

are examined to point out the practical effects when applying
the provisions of the constitution that guarantee the rights of the

community. Communities have various rights and duties and at the same
time the state and various government agencies have the duty to respect

such community rights .

The results of the survey and evaluation found that since

the establishment and recognition of community rights in the 1997
Constitution, through the 2007 Constitution and the 2017 Constitution,

community rights have always been recognized.
