I ABSTRACT I

Local Government Organization Assessment Project for the King Prajadhipok's Institute
Award 2 0 1 9 is a research study aimed at conducting surveys and studying information on
administration and projects/activities. The operations of the Department of Local Administration

demonstrate the excellence in the field of transparency and promote public participation, the
development of peace and reconciliation and the strengthening of private state and civil society
networks, for use as an illustration, consider the King Prajadhipok's Award and certificate by
developing a measure of the Department of Local Administration as a key framework. The initial

assessment is based on basic metrics and in-depth tracking, for Department of Local Administration,
the criteria for the specified score will be assessed by the board of directors. The research process
is based on the evaluation of the research principles that conducted the Department of Local
Administration, which was considered to be a winner of the year of 2018. The performance of the

operating results is determined according to the metrics framework that is provided and in order
to be considered accordingly. The content framework measures the assessment of the mission
based on the Department of Local Administration as the basis for determining the indicators,

divided into audit indicators and performance indicators, the data analysis method consists of two
parts: (1) Preliminary considerations on the Department of Local Administration's operating bases.
(2) Depth considerations through field data. The results showed that the Department of Local
Administration all 280 applicants participated in the program and received 33 awards for excellence
by type 1: transparency excellence and promotes public participation 13 properties, type 2:

excellence in the promotion of peace and reconciliation, amount 4 places, type 3: the excellence
in strengthening the network of 16 private state and civil society. It has been found to consider that
the Department of Local Administration has developed transparency and promotes public

participation, the strengthening of the peace and reconciliation and the strengthening of public and
civil society networks. It has been found to develop systems and mechanisms to drive both
transparency and promote public participation, strengthening peace and reconciliation, and
strengthening private state and civil society networks. However, the main challenge is “the

development of King Prajadhipok's Award is an area to create, learn, distribute power to the local
by reflecting the lesson about the prosperity of the Department of Local Administration on the
transparency base and promotes the public participation, strengthening the peace and
reconciliation as well as strengthening the state network, private, and civil society rather than being

competition area”
