Abstract
The objective of this research is to study the parliamentary system in a comparative way
in terms of structure, development, principles and arguments to study the development of the
parliamentary system in Thailand both in terms of structure, principles and arguments from 1932
to the present, and to propose a model of a parliamentary system suitable for Thailand.
The results of the research showed that the development of the model of the
parliamentary system in Thailand since the revolution of 24th June 1932 has been characterized
by alternating between unicameral and bicameral systems. and alternate with the time when
Thailand was a democracy there is an election and during the time under the military dictatorship.
People's confidence in the democratic process that requires people's political right to participate
in politics. and has given the people the opportunity to participate until they become familiar
with the exercise of their own political rights until eventually, they become confident in their own
democratic political power. as well as creating connections between people and representatives
in the parliamentary system that require political responsibility. All of which will lead to a principle
that is more important than losing or winning a parliamentary vote, namely the strength of
democratic principles that will eventually be rooted in the growing Thai political society in the
future.
