Cyber threats sometimes come from the development of digital systems and AI that lay

traps and pitfalls by intention for the users in order to intercept information illegally.

Therefore, it is necessary to establish digital ethics to be the standard for both platform

developers and all users including governmental and public sectors. Currently, there is an

international effort to formulate public policy as the standard for global usage. It is considered
one of the mechanisms of the United Nations regarding the Internet besides the International

Telecommunication Union (ITU) that annually meets. It is the Internet Governance Forum.

which currently has a regional level as well.

From the above, it can be seen that the most effective way to deal with cyber threats

resulting from the development of digital technology and AI needs collaboration from all

parties from national and international levels. As the global citizen we should be digital
citizens at the same time who concern digital threats and aware every step when surfing the

internet not to harm yourself nor fraud the other. Digital awareness, hence, is important as the

starting point in protecting human rights in the digital world of individual level. And it is the

important basis to drive digital standard as the public policy that the whole world will work

toget her.
