National level

The government sector must review laws and regulations to keep them up to date to

cover various forms of cybercrimes that are continually evolving. There are at least

7 tasks that the government should consider to be able to deal with cyber threats effectively.

1.Re vise laws and regulations to be comprehensive and up to date with
the development of digital technology and AI.

2.Enhance cooperation of all agencies to deal with cybercrimes systematically since in

the past missions and responsibilities of governmental agencies to coup with cyber threats are

still not clear.
3.Develop knowledge, skills and attitudes for civil servants, and government officers to

be ware of cybercrimes.

4.Support sufficient budgets and manpower to governmental sectors to be able to drive

cyber security more efficiently.
5.Disclose information sufficiently and appropriately.

6.Create an online platform that promotes citizen participation in jointly checking

information.
7.Enhance citizens’ level of participation in governmental operations such as checking

and following up on complaints to make working on digital technology to be more effective

and transparent.
