The researcher hopes that the information from this research
could assist and be part of the development of the Draft Act in order
to push forward the final promulgation of the Act. This important
milestone is necessary to achieve the purpose of protecting the
victims and suppressing the perpetrators, and at the same time
increasing the credibility of Thailand’s criminal justice system and
strengthening Thailand’s commitment on human rights protection
to be in greater alignment with the international standards.
