Activities

The twentieth King Prajadhipok’s Institute Congress will include three main activities

Keynote Speeches

Keynote speech will be addresses by knowledgeable, experienced experts on issues
related to democratic transition in Thailand and abroad for an exchange of views on this topic.

Academic Seminar

The seminar is divided into three parts and is meant as a forum for exchange and
learning from international and Thai perspectives on matters related to political mechanisms

and sectors involved in promoting sustainable democratic development.

(1) Thai panel discussion with prominent scholars on democratic development
issues

(2) International panel discussion for an exchange of views and experiences with
qualified scholars from abroad

(3) Group discussions to present views, experiences, articles, academic papers, and
research findings in order to exchange learning and develop and share new

knowledge

Exhibition

The exhibition will be used to display knowledge from relevant Thai and international

case studies by means of exhibition booths, signboards, and activities.

Target groups

King Prajadhipok’s Institute expects attendance of about 1,000 people from the
following groups

(1) Members of the National Legislative Assembly

(2) Personnel of state agencies, independent organizations, and local government
organizations

(3) Personnel of relevant international organizations
(4) Academics
