The rights and liberty of political expressions within the party is at any level (by commenting and grouping
in the party). The party emphasizes the process of creating political participation at all levels from the

community level to the national level. In the Democrat Party, there are two-way communications among
the party members and different groups. There is an informal communication in the agenda to create
harmony in the party.

Indicator 5: Tolerance/ Solidarity

The unity of the Democrat Party is seen because the party is a highly-respected institution.

Indicator 6: Communication for Understandings and Peace

There are discussions and party meetings on issues that cannot be determined with votes. The party will
often use the discussion process to find the consensus for the solutions. The Democrat Party provides the

opportunity regularly and continuously to the members to receive important news. In particular,
communications via the social media or applications such as Line and Facebook are active at all time.

Indicator 7: No Direct and Indirect Violence indicators

There are some harsh words, but not often found in the party and among the parties.

In summary, the study on peace culture of such political parties in the early situation before the country's
elections in 2019 is precarious for reconciliation. All the processes that the political parties have expressed
with any intention are monitored by the people in the Cyber world to see if the campaign and the election
process is transparent. At the beginning situation before confirming the election, there were news releases

to discredit each party especially those who are in the public attention.

However, there is still no visible violence probably due to the pinning of the road map for the election
combined with the political culture on the screen such as the social media. The expression appears on the

screen rather than on the road. If any political parties have effectively captured the Thai political culture
and provided opportunities for people to participate in creating democracy from the fundamental level,
the popularity will flow to that direction. For example, a political party has a way for individuals to vote for

a party policy by allowing all groups of people to be part of the power (inclusion: a voice for all). A political
party is open to more informational opportunities (openness: electronic provision of information) based on
the peace principles. A political party listens to individuals to engage them in discussions to seek
deliberative democracy.
