There are discussions and regular party meetings to hear the problems or the public needs. What they learn
from the party members will be integrated to make decisions.

Indicator 7: No Direct and Indirect Violence

There are some harsh words, but not often found in the party or among the parties. In addition, the party
administrators avoid using violence. During the period of Mr. Samak Sundaravej as a prime minister, there

was a protest surrounded the parliament. Mr. Samak Sundaravej handled the situation gently following the
necessary steps to avoid violence. The party also focus on building reconciliation through the Amnesty Act
to make the country start over again.

Indicator 1: Equality of Human Rights

There is no discrimination in Democrat Party. Equal human rights in politics are emphasized especially in
the young generation which is seen as the new power to enhance the party. There is a pilot project such
as Democrat Youth Project. The new generation of the party is introduced under the name ‘New Dem '.

The New Dem group aims to connect the new generations both inside and outside the party.

Indicator 2: Development with Collaboration

In the democratic process, collaboration is required in Democrat Party among people in various forms such

as Vote-Online Application for the election of the party leader on November 1, 2018. The attempt is to
emphasize E-Democracy of the party by making the procedure less complicated for some members who
live far from the location of the party office.

Indicator 3: Equality of Genders, Races, and Religions

In Democrat Party, the focus is on the political arena with the proportion of female MPs and local female

politicians.
