As to migration within ASEAN, the number of deployed
skilled Filipino professionals may reflect some regional trends

surrounding intra-ASEAN migration:migration is predominantly
by less-skilled workers, is highly concentrated in a few migration

corridors (especially Singapore and Malaysia), and is characterized
by high levels of irregular migration, especially give movements
in the Mekong region (Mendoza and Sugiyarto, 2015).

The migration corridor paths Philippines-Malaysia,
Philippines-Singapore and Philippines-Indonesia are the 12th,

16th and 25th voluminous intra-ASEAN migration corridors (see
Table 4).
