4) personal characteristics, 5) status of life and understanding of members in the family,
6) factors relating to participation and 7) the previous pieces of work.

4. Behavioral participation in local politics of the Thai hill tribe ethnic groups
,
in Khlong Lan district, Kamphaeng Phet province are as follows : 1) participation in

meetings, 2) invitation and persuasion, 3) discussion, debate and expressing point of
view in the meeting of the local government council, 4) a feature of the tribal leaders,

5) cultural of development.

Suggestion from the research: 1. Since Thai hill tribe ethnic group in Khlong
Lan district, Kamphaeng Phet province sharing unity base with other ethnic groups and

the concept of being a representative, in order to make a development of lands in the
future, knowledge or development in participatory democracy should be carried out.

2. Authorities who implement activities with the ethnic groups according to the
role and duty of each authoritative unit, for serving sustainable development and

optimum benefits, should utilize local administrative organization bases to carry out
the task together as the local administrative organizations are the ones who oversee the

ethnic groups in the region and the ethnic groups are also the persons who take part in

managing resources of the local administration organization.
