The third visit from 26 to 28 September 1931 A.D.
After his visit to Canada and the United States, His Majesty
King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni visited Japan
again. Although the schedule was not as informal as the previous one,
his visit was important for the development of the relationship between
the two countries.
His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty Queen Rambai
Barni left Honolulu on the morning of September 18, and arrived in
Yokohama on September 26.
On September 26, His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty
Queen Rambai Barni arrived at Yokohama Port. There were the familiar
officials who was present at the previous visit except Mr. Yatabe.
His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni went
to Miyanoshita district in Hakone, to stay at Fujiya Hotel.
On September 27, His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty
Queen Rambai Barni went to Gotemba and boarded the train to Nagoya
to visit Nissenji Temple. At 5 pm, His Majesty King Prajadhipok and
Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni left Nagoya for Gifu. In the evening,
His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni saw
the special fishing technique using Cormorant at the Nangara River before
boarding a train and arriving in Tokyo at midnight to stay at Miyako Hotel.
On September 28, His Majesty King Prajadhipok and Her Majesty
Queen Rambai Barni went for lunch with the members of Siam Society
in Japan, and then boarded train to Kobe to leave Japan from Kobe Port
at 5 pm.
