There was a significant event representing the relationship between
the two countries including the 2nd National Boy Scout Rally attended
by Japanese boy scouts and King Prajadhipok’s visit to Japan along with
Her Majesty Queen Rambai Barni with the following details:
• On January 1, His Majesty King Prajadhipok opened the
National Scout Rally at Saranrom Park.
• On January 3, a group of Japanese boy scouts from various
cities across Japan led by Count Yoshinori Futara arrived
at Bangkok Railway Station to attend the 2nd National Boy
Scout Rally and camped at the scout camp in Saranrom
Park.
• On January 14, Count Yoshinori Futara led the group of
Japanese boy scouts to join Siam Scout Association for
the 2nd National Boy Scout Rally with the following items
contributed with gratitude to promote the friendship among
boy scouts in both nations to Council of Scout Administration
Committee as souvenirs: a flag with a fish picture, a pair of
fencing armors, a pair of chest armors, 9 swords, 3 wooden
swords, 11 sword sheaths, 8 picture cards with envelopes,
200 sheets of pictures, 34 issues of Visit Japan, 17 issues of
Japan 1929, 34 issues of Japan 1930, 2 issues of Nippon,
17 sets of notepads, 20 cases of pencils, 22 pocket pencils,
and Scout Marks of Japan in a frame.
