Abstract

Building Peace with Multiculturalism in Ban Na Thap
Community, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat

Province, and Mae Sariang Sub-district Community,
Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province. There are

2 objectives; 1. To obtain the peace lesson from: a)

Community of Mae Sariang Sub-District Municipality,
Mae Hong Son Province; b) Ban Na Thap Community,

Nakhon Si Thammarat Province 2. To emphasize

multiculturism in the peaceful communities;
Multiculturalism lessons in Ban Na Thap Community,

Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, and

Mae Sariang Sub-district Community, Mae Sariang District,
Mae Hong Son Province, have introduced the peaceful

community model. Both areas maintain peace with
effective approaches to live in society with diversity.

The concept of multiculturalism was applied in the

study as a framework to understand the society with
diverse cultures according to the data derived from the area.

Stewart Hall’s concept called “a new line of ethnicity” was
also witnessed in Mae Sariang Sub-District Municipality
