Andrew is a former Vice Chair and Secretary General of the UK Liberal Party and
Chief Executive of the UK Liberal Democrats, stood four times for the UK Parliament,
and served as an elected member of a major UK local authority. He was awarded
the honour of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by the UK in 1983.
